OC Parks and the Dr. John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center invite you to Science in the Park at Irvine Regional Park. The free, educational, family event will present Orange County’s rich heritage of natural history, native animals and plants, local Native American culture, and the fascinating world of science to the community.
Science in the Park will be fun for both young and old, with a number of activities including archaeological and paleontological demonstrations and exhibits, science experiments, environmental conservation, and a Junior Scientist Camp featuring educational crafts and hands-on activities. The event will take place in front of the OC Zoo. Be sure to visit the OC Zoo and take advantage of the various zookeeper chats throughout the day.
