Live at the Museum - Lavendar Bass - Laguna Beach Live

Laguna Beach Live! in partnership with the Laguna Art Museum presents Lavender Bass on Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at the Laguna Art Museum. Lavender Bass explores the beautiful and varied repertoire for their unique instrument combination.

Bassonist Christine Phelps Webb frequently performs with top Southern California Orchestras, is in demand as a studio musician, and has garnered critical acclaim for her recording work. International Cellist, Jeness Johnson, has performed for former President Jimmy Carter, Pope John Paul II, Yo-yo Ma and collaborated with artists as diverse as K.D. Lang and James Taylor. A newly commissioned piece for the duo will have its world premiere at the museum.

Live! at the Museum takes place the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Laguna Art Museum and is free to museum members and to non-members with museum admission. Pre-reservations are available online through the Museum’s website, or at 949.494.8971 x203 and these seats are held until 6:45 pm; additional seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
